  1. hey mr hardin, whatsup? this is lester, i'm just dropping a comment to your post, i'd like to thank you for teaching me the one amazing truth, its not about the destination, its about the journey. while all the other kids were learning math, and science, and health. gay. a was learning something much more important in sci/fi myth. those other students, may be succesful. but i know that as long as i have the journey in mind, that i will be happy. whether i turn out to be a success or a bum, at least i'll be a happy bum. thank you big H

  2. I wanna thank you too, I'll miss having you as a teacher and mentor of many lessons in life. I developed a new appreciation of not only the subject material, but the people who create, imagine, and document their ideas into film and literature. I honestly have had moments already when i'm in a situation and ask myself "what would big H do..."
Oh and I rented 'Rushmore' the other day when i noticed it was by Wes Anderson , I didn't remember you recommending it until I got home. I think my favorite thing about it was the contrast of music styles to represent max's personality. But dang, all of his clubs made me feel like such a loser, haha. Please start up a GS Fencing Club, or at least a Kite Flyers Club. I could actually do that one.

  5. Hey, it's Bob Madeley from class of 09.
In one of my classes we are reading Gilgamesh and it reminded me of you and fun times in myth class.
But yeah, just wanted to see how you've been doing. Feel free to email me (roflbob@temple.edu). Also i have some music i think you might like, lol. Maybe you can use it in class actually because it's about Macbeth and there's another song about Hamlet, but they're catchy and not obscene like typical gangster crunk. I'll leave the links here, but feel free to check out the artists' other stuff, he's real creative but funny at the same time.
    Ophelia song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIhUYjlXt8A
I can't find a link for "Rapbeth" but it's a good one, if you're interested you can try to find it.
Anyway, i'm rambling so i'll talk to you later and I hope your new school year is going well. Don't scare em too bad

  6. We watched Bride of Frankenstein in my Cinema Art class today! I thought it would be appropriate to comment on a relevant post.
